GOLDEN RAIN VISION

A VISION GIVEN TO NORMA McANENEY IN A PRAYER MEETING IN 1984 IN HAMILTON ONTARIO

In 1984 the Lord gave me a vision of the outpouring of the former and latter rain. It was awesome and it happened while we are having a time of prayer and worship in St Mark’s church in Hamilton Ontario.

In the vision it was raining, and the rain was unlike any rain that we have seen here on earth.

The raindrops were huge, and the color of the rain was as pure liquid gold.

As the rain fell and hit the earth, wheat sprang up; it kept raining until there was an ocean of golden wheat as far as the eye could see.

As I watched the reapers came into the fields to gather the wheat into the barns and as I kept watching I noticed that each of the wheat heads had a face and, in my heart, I knew that each one of the faces was a person that had never heard of our Lord Jesus Christ before.

My mind turned to the gospels where Jesus and his disciples were walking in the corn fields and Jesus said to the disciples,” the fields are white and ready for harvest, who will go and bring in the harvest”

And I thought that this is where we the people of the Lord come into play and help in the harvest time.

As I watched the vision fade away, I could see thousands and thousands of people with their arms stretched up to the heavens and they were all worshipping God in one accord.

In 1986 The Lord gave me the words of a song and it is titles Golden Rain…
